DRIVING LICENCE
All customers must hold valid, signed and current driving licence (both parts: id card and paper part) which must be presented at first driving lesson.
INSURANCE
All customers are insured to drive training vehicle provided that they licensed to drive and accompanied by Approved Driving Instructor or DRIVER and VEHICLE STANDARDS AGENCY examiner.
DISABILITIES
All customers must inform their instructor about any disabilities that could affect their ability to drive or learn to drive.
PERSONAL PROPERTY
BIG T driving school and Your driving instructor accept no liability for for personal property left in training vehicle.
LIABILITY
BIG T driving school and Your driving instructor accept no liability for losses relating to any business interests customer may have including, without limitation, lost profits, loss of opportunity or business or business interruption.
LESSONS
The contract for driving tuition is solely between customer and their instructor. Customer and their instructor are responsible for agreeing all matters relating to the timing, location and duration of individual lessons.
FEES AND REFUNDS
Payment for driving lessons must be made in advance directly to instructor in cash or bank transfer (please ask for details). Online payment facility coming soon. All pre paid hours must be used within 1 year from the date of their purchase, after such time they expire and are non refundable. Where refunds are required customers will not benefit from discounted rates and will be refunded their payment minus lessons taken charged at full single lesson price at the time of refund.
TRANSFERABILITY OF LESSONS
Customer cannot sell or transfer lessons which have been purchased in their name to any other person.
PRICE CHANGES
The price of lessons which have not been pre-paid as part of a block booking may be change at any time.
CANCELLATIONS AND POSTPONEMENTS BY CUSTOMERS
Customer MUST GIVE MINIMUM OF 48 HOURS NOTICE to postpone or cancel a driving lesson. Failure to do so will result in the customer being liable for that lesson fee in full. Any customer who fails to attend pre arranged lesson is liable for that lesson fee in full. Cancellations and postponements should be made directly to instructors mobile number: 078 28 768 203 via call or text.
CANCELLATIONS AND POSTPONEMENTS BY BIG T DRIVING SCHOOL
Instructor will take every care to ensure customer receive their pre-booked lessons at requested times. All bookings are made on the understanding that BIG T driving school and Your driving instructor are not responsible for any postponements due to a case beyond their control (e.g. traffic conditions, adverse weather or mechanical failure). Instructor has right to cancel lesson at full charge if the customer is unfit to safely undertake the lesson due to self inducted circumstances (e.g. alcohol or drugs). BIG T driving school prioritises official DVSA driving tests so lesson times on occasions may be postponed to accommodate customers official driving tests.
DRIVING TEST
BIG T driving school and Your driving instructor reserve the right to withhold training vehicle if, in instructors opinion customer has not met required standard. BIG T driving school and Your driving instructor are not responsible for cancellations made by DRIVER and VEHICLE STANDARDS AGENCY. BIG T driving school and Your driving instructor are not responsible for number of lessons required to reach test standard.
COMPLAINTS
Complaints should be made directly to Your driving instructor.
